The Maryland State Taekwondo Association is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2008.  It is our mission is to support athletes, coaches and referees across the entire Maryland taekwondo community, including members of USA Taekwondo and AAU Taekwondo.  MSTA is
governed by a State Board of Governors, and lead by an Executive Board of elected officers.

WHAT: USAT OPEN TAEKWONDO QUALIFIER for the 2012 USAT Junior & Senior National Championship in Dallas, Texas.
This USAT Qualifier is open to ALL States.

WHO: All Grand Masters, Masters, Referees, Coaches, and Competitors***

WHAT: USAT Referee Development Seminar Certification

WHEN: Saturday February 4, 2012

WHERE: Vuong's Martial Arts - 1117 State Route 3 North, Gambrills, MD 21054

HOW: By filling out this application USAT RDS and attending.

***All participants must be at least 16 years old, 2012 USA Taekwondo athlete and/or referee member, provide proof of 1st degree black belt certification or higher and pay seminar fee in order to be eligible to receive Referee Certification.



***Global Taekwondo Internship Program***

The Korean Cultural Center at the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Washington D.C. is currently recruiting regional Taekwondo schools to host visiting students from Korea for a three-month teaching internship, as part of the Global Taekwondo Internship Program. The purpose of the program is to allow outstanding Korean college students studying Taekwondo to intern and teach Taekwondo abroad while improving their language skills and cultural awareness, while also giving local schools the opportunity to work with an experienced Taekwondo practitioner trained in Korea who can support and supplement the school’s own training programs.
